Historical and natural places to visit in Muğla

Muğla province has been the name owner of a debate since years. The name of the city is different according in many different places. When you look at different sources, Mugla shows that the name comes from words like Mogola, Mabolla Mobella or Mobolia. It is surrounded by the Aegean Sea in the western part of the Mediterranean Sea and in the west.

With a total length of 1479 km, Mugla boasts the longest coastline of Turkey with its coast. There are also Bodrum, Marmaris, Fethiye and Gulluk ports in Muğla, which has high opportunities in terms of transportation. In addition, Bodrum-Milas and Dalaman have two airports.
